EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1 material performance

During the steel materials production, we have strict monitoring measures and indicators, and ensure no chemical composition, mechnical properties and so on technical problems for the steel materials EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1. Although both HSLA steel plate and carbon steel plate belong to carbon structure and low alloy structure steel, there are some differences. First of all, EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, HSLA steel plate and carbon steel plate differ in strength, hardness and use. In terms of strength, the strength of HSLA steel plate is higher than carbon steel plate. In terms of hardness, the hardness of HSLA steel plate is also higher than that of carbon steel plate. And in the scope of use, the advantages of HSLA steel plate are more prominent, so the scope of HSLA steel plate use is more extensive than that of carbon steel plate.

EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel belongs to carbon structural steel. Q215A steel does not contain specially added alloy elements. EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel is mainly used in construction and engineering structures. Chemical composition of Q215A steel: C: ≤ 0.15, Si: ≤ 0.30, Mn: ≤ 1.20, P ≤: 0.045, S ≤: 0.050. Q215A steel has low carbon and manganese content. Q215A steel strength is slightly higher than Q195 steel strength. EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel has good plasticity, good toughness, weldability and process performance. Q215A steel is mainly used in plant building, bridge components, tower, derrick and vehicle and ship manufacturing components.
