The effect of nitrogen (N) on the properties of 1.8928 material and so on steel is similar to that of carbon and phosphorus. With the increase of nitrogen content, the strength of steel can be significantly improved, especially the plasticity, especially toughness, and the weldability will be decreased, and the cold brittleness will be intensified. At the same time, aging tendency, cold brittleness and hot brittleness will be increased, which will damage the weldability and cold bending property of steel. Therefore, the nitrogen content in 1.8928 material and so on steel should be reduced and limited as much as possible. Generally, nitrogen content should not be higher than 0.018%.

According to the economic development trend in Asia and the economic development of China, India, Japan and ASEAN, it is estimated that the steel consumption in Asia will be 1228 million tons in 2019, with a year-on-year growth of 6.6%; the 1.8928 material steel demand in Asia in 2020 is predicted to be 1.241 billion tons, with a year-on-year growth of 1.1%. According to the 1.8928 material economic development of Europe, it is estimated that the steel consumption in Europe will be 202 million tons in 2019, with a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%; the steel demand in Europe in 2020 is predicted to be 205 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 1.5%.
