Cause analysis of slag hanging in S890Q steel cutting process

BBNsteel is a well known S890Q steel products stockist in China.
Our S335N plate is weldable fine grain steel which comes under EN 10025-3 standard. S335N steel plates are with specified minimum strength at temperature of 275 mpa, and with a specific minimum value of impact energy. These fine grain steel is available in different shapes like plates, flats, bars and sections.

Under the action of the roller and the plug, a cavity is formed in the blank, which is called the blank. Then send it to the automatic tube rolling machine to continue rolling. Finally, the wall thickness of the whole machine is equalized and the diameter is calibrated by the sizing machine to meet the specification requirements. It is an advanced method to produce S890Q steel, hot-rolled seamless steel tube by continuous rolling mill.

Quenching and tempering (QT) is a double heat treatment process of quenching and high temperature tempering. In general, medium carbon steel and medium S890Q steel carbon alloy steel often need quenching and tempering treatment. Quenching and tempering can make iron and steel parts obtain a good combination of strength and toughness, with high strength, excellent toughness, plasticity, cutting performance, etc. Some S890Q steel alloy steel or low alloy steel must be quenched and tempered to obtain good comprehensive properties. These steels can also be called quenched and tempered steels.

How to prevent S890Q steel, steel plate cutting cracks? 1. Preheat the steel plate before cutting, and the preheating temperature depends on the quality grade and thickness of the steel plate. However, it needs to be heated evenly. 2. The cutting speed is reduced appropriately, but its reliability is not as good as preheating. It is suggested to preheat the cutting belt with flame gun cavitation several times before cutting, and the preheating temperature should reach about 180℃.
