1.8931 steel 300 Tons

42Cr2Mo steel is an ultra-high strength steel. The steel has high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, and small deformation during quenching. After quenching and tempering, 42Cr2Mo alloy has a higher fatigue limit and resistance to multiple impacts. Good impact toughness at low temperature, high creep strength and enduring strength at high temperature. The steel 1.8931 steel usually adopts surface quenching after quenching and tempering as the heat treatment plan.

The wear-resistant plate 1.8931 steel shows good wear resistance: the chemical composition of the alloy layer contains 4-5% carbon and 25-30% chromium. The volume fraction of Cr7C3 carbide in the metallographic structure is more than 50%, the macro hardness is HRC56-62, and the hardness of chromium carbide is HV1400-1800. Because of the vertical distribution of carbides in the wear direction, the wear resistance of the cast alloy with the same composition and 1.8931 steel hardness is more than twice as that of the cast alloy with the same composition and hardness. Compared with several typical materials, the wear resistance is as follows: (1) compared with low carbon steel; 20-25:1 (2) with as cast high chromium cast iron; 1.5-2.5:1.

We do sand blasting and shop primer for various 1.8931 steel steel plates such as carbon steel plates, high strength low alloy steel plates, shipbuilding steel plates, etc. before delivery, so as to protect the steel plates from going rust during transportation. Our sand blasting standard is SA2.5, and shop primer 1.8931 steel thickness is 20μm or so. Our shop primer has been certified by ABS, LR, BV etc. authorities.
