30CrMnTi steel has higher strength and hardenability than 20CrMnTi steel, but its impact toughness is slightly lower. Mainly used as carburizing steel, it can be quenched directly after carburizing, with high bending strength and good wear resistance. It can be used after quenching, low temperature tempering or quenching and tempering, with medium machinability. 30CrMnTi steel can be used in the manufacture of heavy-duty carburized parts with large cross-sections and gears, gear shafts, worms, etc. with large forces in the tractor industry.
The most remarkable characteristic of low alloy high strength steel is high strength. In hot rolling or normalizing state, the strength of low alloy high strength steel is generally 30% - 50% higher than that of corresponding carbon engineering structural steel, S500 steel grade. Therefore, it can bear large load. Engineering structures are usually large or huge, and the weight of the component itself often becomes an important part of the load. When the strength of the structural material is improved, the self weight of the component can be significantly reduced, and its ability to bear other loads can be further improved.
In order to improve the S500 steel grade corrosion resistance and decoration of steel, it is an important content of steel production method to plating or coating a protective layer on the surface of plastic processed steel. The material of protective layer is divided into metal and non-metal. The metal protective layer adopts the methods of electroplating, hot plating and chemical plating. The main S500 steel grade coating metals are zinc, tin, copper, aluminum, chromium, etc., of which zinc plating and tin plating are the most common. Taking S500 steel grade sheet metal as an example, there are many hot-dip galvanizing methods used in sheet metal galvanizing. Continuous hot-dip galvanizing is one of the main galvanizing methods used in the world.
What is the difference between Q345B steel and Q345A steel? S500 steel grade, Q345B steel and Q345A steel have slight difference in chemical composition: Q345A steel: C ≤ 0.20, Mn ≤ 1.7, Si ≤ 0.55, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.045, V 0.02 ~ 0.15; Q345B steel: C ≤ 0.20, Mn ≤ 1.7, Si ≤ 0.55, P ≤ 0.040, S ≤ 0.040, V 0.02 ~ 0.15. The difference between Q345B steel and Q345A steel is mainly in A and B behind the steel grade, Q345A steel grade is not subject to impact; Q345B steel grade needs 20 ℃ room temperature impact test.
Both parties shall confirm the S500 steel grade material object and the quality of the products, confirm the reasons for the defects and the quality of the products, and sign the quality inspection agreement. Major quality objections shall be reported to relevant leaders in a timely manner, and shall be discussed and solved with the S500 steel grade steel plant.
