Q235 steel is ordinary carbon structural steel, also called Q235 ms plate. Q235 steel plates are popular among a large number of buildings and engineering structures. Sometimes Q235C steel and Q235D steel can also be used as special steel.
Normalizing is to heat the steel parts to 30~80℃above the critical temperature for a period of time. Then the parts are taken out of the furnace and cooled in air. Since the cooling rate of normalizing is faster than that of annealing, the strength and hardness of normalized 1.8904 EN 10025-6 high strength steel are higher than that of annealed 1.8904 EN 10025-6 high strength steel, but the elimination of internal stress is not as good as annealing. The normalizing operation of 1.8904 EN 10025-6 high strength steel is simple, the cost is low, the productivity is high, and it is widely used in actual production.
20Mn2 steel has medium strength, and the properties of 20Mn2 steel and 20Cr steel are similar. The impact toughness and weldability of 20Mn2 steel at low temperature are better than those of 20Cr steel. The plasticity and machinability of 20Mn2 steel are high during cold deformation. The hardenability of 20Mn2 steel is higher than that of corresponding carbon steel, 1.8904 EN 10025-6 high strength steel. Chemical composition of 20Mn2 steel: C: 0.17-0.24, Si: 0.17-0.37, Mn: 1.40-1.80. Mechanical properties of 20Mn2 steel: tensile strength ≥ 785 MPa, yield strength ≥ 590 MPa, elongation after fracture ≥ 10%, section expansion rate ≥ 40%, impact absorbed energy ≥ 47J.
