S460Q Non-Alloy Structural Steel Plate

S460Q Non-Alloy Structural Steel size range includes thicknesses from 6mm up to 200mm and widths up to 3200mm. S460Q steel's mechanical properties are excellent for strength-to-weight ratio applications which include yield strength of 460MPa minimum with an impact energy of 27J at -20°C. S460Q Non-Alloy Structural Steel Plate is a high strength quenched and tempered steel plate that is widely used in the engineering and construction industries. S460Q structural steel has excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, toughness, and weldability. This steel grade can be used in applications such as bridge building, offshore structures, power plants, mining machinery, and other structures where high strength is required.

The chemical composition of S460Q high-strength Structural Steel Plate includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel and molybdenum. With its combination of these elements and its low alloy content, it is an ideal choice for many engineering projects where strength is a priority. With its superior mechanical properties and corrosion resistance capabilities, S460Q Non- Alloy Structural Steel Plate is an ideal material for use in construction projects that require long-term performance. S460Q Structural Steel Plate is a high-strength quenched and tempered steel that has been designed to provide exceptional strength and durability.

S460Q High-strength Structural Steel plate thickness, width allowable deviation

S460Q Steel plate specification thickness deviation: 0~6 mm, Nominal thickness and allowable deviation: ±2%

Allowable deviation in the thickness direction of the steel plate

In the thickness direction, the minimum nominal thickness of the S460Q steel plate is: No thickness deviation lower than the standard nominal value of the steel plate is allowed.

S460Q steel does not allow negative deviation, and the minimum deviation should be negative deviation. (2) In the dimension direction, when the negative deviation in the thickness direction of the steel plate does not exceed the nominal range, the negative deviation is allowed; but the actual negative deviation in the thickness direction of the steel plate cannot be greater than ±5% of the standard nominal value of the steel plate (the maximum negative deviation value). The minimum deviation value in the thickness direction of the steel plate and the nominal thickness should be 1 mm, and the minimum deviation value varies with the specification size. (3) When there is a positive or negative deviation in the specification size, the deviation value should be added to the allowable deviation specified in the standard.
