Oxygen (O) is a harmful element in steel such as EN 10025-6 high strength steel S550QL1. Although manganese, silicon, iron and aluminum are added to deoxidize the steel at the end of steelmaking, they can not be removed completely. During the solidification of molten steel, the reaction of oxygen and carbon in the solution will produce carbon monoxide, which can cause bubbles. Oxygen mainly exists in the form of FeO, MnO, SiO2, Al2O3 and other inclusions in the steel, which reduces the strength and plasticity of the steel. Especially, it has serious influence on fatigue strength and impact toughness.

EN 10025-6 high strength steel S550QL1, Q345 and Q345B are steel numbers. The differences are as follows:1. Q345 is general and does not indicate the quality level; Q345B is clear and the quality level is B.2. Q345 does not require to inspect the impact performance; Q345B requires that the impact performance at room temperature is qualified (impact at 20 ℃).3. Q345 does not indicate carbon content of steel; Q345B carbon content is 0.20%.Q345 refers to carbon structural steel with yield point (σ s) of 345MPa. The following letters indicate the quality level, including A, B, C, D and E.

As of the week of November 13, China's total coke inventory was 7,240,400 tons, the overall level is still low, but it increased by 1.64% from the beginning of the month, and an increase of 120,000 tons during the week.
