EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1 material performance

In terms of strength, the strength of HSLA steel plate is higher than carbon steel plate. In terms of hardness, the hardness of HSLA steel plate is also higher than that of carbon steel plate. And in the scope of use, the advantages of HSLA steel plate are more prominent, so the scope of HSLA steel plate use is more extensive than that of carbon steel plate.

EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel belongs to carbon structural steel. Q215A steel does not contain specially added alloy elements. EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel is mainly used in construction and engineering structures. Chemical composition of Q215A steel: C: ≤ 0.15, Si: ≤ 0.30, Mn: ≤ 1.20, P ≤: 0.045, S ≤: 0.050. Q215A steel has low carbon and manganese content. Q215A steel strength is slightly higher than Q195 steel strength. EN 10025-6 high strength steel S690QL1, Q215A steel has good plasticity, good toughness, weldability and process performance. Q215A steel is mainly used in plant building, bridge components, tower, derrick and vehicle and ship manufacturing components.
