Compared with EN 10025 S500QL1 high strength steel, boiler steel plates should have the following properties: (1) High medium temperature strength: low and medium pressure boiler drums use steel with a lower yield point, high pressure boilers use steel with a high yield point. (2) Good plasticity, impact toughness, cold bending and welding performance. (3) The notch sensitivity is small, that is, the sensitivity to the stress concentration caused by the opening of the steel plate surface and the welding of the pipe head is small.
S355J2 steel plate rolling process is controlled rolling process. In the rolling process, the ingot rolling temperature is 1000-1050℃; in the first stage, the low-speed and large reduction rolling process is adopted, the high-temperature stage is 950-1000℃, the EN 10025 S500QL1 high strength steel rolling speed is 1.6-2.0m/s, the single reduction rate is 15-20%, and the cumulative reduction rate is 40-45%, so as to ensure sufficient deformation of ingot. In the first stage, the start rolling temperature is 910-930℃, and the finish rolling temperature is ≤ 870℃.As a basic building material, steel plates are currently widely used in automobiles, shipbuilding, chemical industry, aerospace and other fields. Reasonable selection of flaw detection methods to ensure the quality of EN 10025 S500QL1 high strength steel steel plates is of great significance to safe production. EN 10025 S500QL1 high strength steel, A335 P22 steel pipe is characterized by good process performance, less sensitivity to the heating temperature of heat treatment, good welding performance, good plasticity, and low strength, especially the high temperature rupture strength is lower than 12Cr1MoV steel. When used at the same temperature and stress, its wall thickness is about 30% thicker than 12Cr1MoV Steel.
