S460QL steel grade price still has room to rise

The tensile strength of seamless steel pipe is more than 8-10 times of that of ordinary steel, and its elastic modulus is better than that of steel, with excellent creep resistance, corrosion resistance and seismic resistance; the mechanical performance of seamless steel pipe is excellent, easy to machine, etc.; the seamless steel pipe S460QL steel grade is highly elastic, reused in mechanical equipment, memoryless, deformation free, and antistatic.

The outer diameter of the hot-rolled seamless pipe is generally larger than 32mm, and the wall thickness is 2.5-75mm. The diameter of the cold-rolled seamless pipe can be 6mm, the wall thickness can be 0.25mm, the outer diameter of the thin-walled pipe can be 5mm, and the wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. The size accuracy of the cold-rolled seamless pipe is higher than that of the hot-rolled seamless pipe, S460QL steel grade.

Under the specification EN 10025-2, S275J2 plates are mainly used in the building industry and mechanical engineering, containers, storage tanks and roll formed steel profiles, such as steel angles, steel structures, H-beams, T-sections. For S460QL steel grade, S275J2 carbon steel, our engineers still suggest done normalized heat treatment for them if customers want to improve their steel's property when using. Else, this steel must be done low temperature impacting test at -20℃.

Punchability refers to the performance of metal without cracks and other defects after stamping deformation. Many steel products are manufactured through a stamping process. In order to ensure the quality of the products and the smooth progress of the process, the S460QL steel grade, steel plates and strips used for stamping must have qualified stamping performance.
