Welcome to BBN High Strength Steels Factory
S460QL steel plates are a series of high strength steel plates produced by Quenched and Tempered (Q&T) process. Their material composition give them high strength and an excellent combination of toughness making them highly suitable for a number of uses, particularly industrial applications. The strength of S460QL steel plates is largely attributed to their high silicon and manganese contents, combined with their special manufacturing process. This type of steel is able to bear heavy loads, making them ideal for a variety of industrial applications. S460QL steel materials are used in the construction of bridges, buildings, ships, and other heavy structures. Their high strength makes them suitable in the manufacture of tower cranes, rigs, elevators, and other large machinery.
The high hardness of S460QL steel plates also allows for wear-resistant coating that can significantly extend the lifespan of these components. This wear protection also makes them ideal for use in the production of tools and other wear components that are required to stand up to heavy contact and environments. As a result, S460QL structural steel plates are used in the manufacture of drill bits, machine tools, treads, and other wear components used in the automotive and aerospace industries. Some advantages of S460QL steel plates include their ability to withstand corrosion and other environmental factors, as well as their high durability and toughness. The corrosion resistance of these steels is improved through the use of specialized coatings, such as galvanizing. Steel plates with a coating of zinc can even resist exposure to moisture and other corrosive elements.
S460QL high-strength structural steel plates are rustproof, making them capable of withstanding severe weather conditions and environments. As with all metal components, there are some significant limits to the use of S460QL steel plates. S460QL steels are not as easily formed or machined as some other metals, because of their high strength. but these S460QL steels are not usually used in liquefied petroleum gas applications because of the risk of combustion.
